Portfolios

The portfolio is an excellent way for someone to really expose their knowledge. A portfolio can be a great tool as an inspiring teacher to have all of the information ready and prepared for say a job interview. I also think as a teacher in the classroom a portfolio is a great tool to incorporate. You can allow the students to put back certain items that they really enjoyed working on or something that they did really well on. This also allows the child and teacher to talk to the parents and show them what the student has been working on and how they are doing in class. A portfolio is something that I don't think enough people use but should be incorporated more.
