Websites

Websites are an extraordinary way to really get the students involved in the classroom and for the students and parents to get to know you. I think a website is a great tool for communication with parents. You can tell them what is going to be discussed this week and if there are any big time projects or papers coming up. Parents want to know what is going on in their child's life and I think a website is a great way to really get them involved. You can talk about yourself on the website so that the parents and children can learn about you before them come to your class. A website is also a neat tool to use for posting homework. If a student misses class or forgets to write it down they can simply go to the website and look and the next homework assignment will be posted. I think there are a lot of different things you can do with a website and it is a really neat idea for the classroom.
